Cut out for motor unit

Establish and mark mid point of the meeting sash rails when in the closed position.

For the bottom sash /right hand motor, position the motor body template so that the centre of the pinion is 50mm below the midpoint mark.

The pinion centre on the template for the top sash, should be 50mm above the midpoint mark.

Ensure that the groove on the template aligns correctly with those that have been previously cut.

Measurements for the cut out are shown opposite.

Fix motor unit in postition, using four woodscrews.
