General Safety ~ Electrical ~ Battery
Powersash runs from its own integral battery which is situated in the control panel and is trickle charged by the mains supply. Should mains supply be cut during a house fire or storm, Powersash can be opened and closed several times before the battery needs recharging. By running directly from a battery, Powersash can provide access for the user in any type of emergency. In addition, Powersash built-in software, performs a periodic test on the battery to ensure its capability. In the unlikely event of failure a buzzer sounds to inform the user. To see the Powersash in action, just click Play Movie to view our interactive demonstration.
